Brazilian metal band Lugubra (which most of the musicians I have been working with for over 20 years) has just released their new, mostly self-produced (I did help a lot at the end), self-recorded (DI guitars, bass, not-programmed electronic drums) album.
Mixing those songs was a labour of love and care (close to 70 hours of work on my end and I bet there were hundreds of hours from their guitar player Rafael Syade)
There is a lot of attention in getting the drum tones right and having the guitar and bass work in the mix and respecting the musician's taste.
It's not that usual to have metal bands singing in Portuguese, so this is special from the beginning, and the vocals are beautifully executed to match the instrumentals!
